Are you interested in buying a new car? Perhaps you saved up some money and now you are looking for your dream car? Or maybe you just want to see what this year has to offer in the area of luxury sedans? Well, prepare yourself for what is coming, as this year’s models are surely a feast for the eyes.
The cars will be compared not only in terms of their outward appearance and brand, but also in terms of how much user-friendly, comfortable and useful their interior seems to be. Let us start our list.
Lexus LS 600h
As one of the flagships of Lexus, LS 600h has seen a lot of work made inside and outside of it, compared to the previous generation to make it as appealing as possible. With the long tradition of hybrid technology, Lexus has made this machine a monster with four-wheel drive, 438-horsepower V-8 5.0 liter engine reaching up to electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. Its interior is also something to marvel at. A completely new dashboard look integrates a very big 12.3-inch navigation/multi-information LCD screen that controls almost everything in the car. Lexus’ focus on quality is well known, so this car spells luxury.
BMW’s 2016 7 Series
Although it will arrive the next year, BMW has already given us specifications of the next model. The first noticeable feature is the subtle, more aggressive look. It looks like a sports car and it will be as powerful as one as well. The most powerful version, 750i xDrive, has a 445-horsepower V-8 and will get you to 100km/h in just over 4 seconds (4.3 to be exact). However, the interior is what makes every luxury sedan truly luxurious and BMW 7-series seems like a very spacious gadget-filled room. It is up to you to choose whether you want to control every little thing or nothing.
Jaguar XJR is a traditional British limousine with focus on elegance, style and sophistication. But not so traditional is its look, which is so aggressive that some sports cars look modest compared to it. Not to shy away from its competitors is its 5.0 liter supercharged V-8 engine achieving 550 horsepower and acceleration to 100km/h in 4.4 seconds. This car’s exhaust has been modified to provide a deeper, almost roaring sound on the track. This goes to show that this car can reach 280 km/h and even more. This makes it one of the best luxury/sports cars of today.
Maserati Quattroporte GTS
Maserati Quattroporte GTS is part a luxury 4-door sedan and part a powerful race machine. Its styling is very unique to Maserati and is the best of what Italian design has to offer. Some people say it is the nearest thing you can get to a four-door Ferrari. With a wide range of engines to choose from, it is easy to get lost, but the most powerful version offers 530-horsepower from a 3.8 V-8 that will get you to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds. The luxury inside can only be measured by the depth of your wallet, so choose carefully.
Porsche Panamera Turbo S Executive
Porsche is known as one of the best sports car manufacturer in the world. When they announced Panamera, many people were skeptical but they proved them wrong. In its Turbo S Executive version, Panamera has 570-horsepower 4.8 liter V-8 engine that enables it to reach 100km/h in 3.8 seconds. It is definitely a car for people who can afford to invest a lot of money, as its base price starts at $201,495. The interior is not as cold and calculated as we are used to seeing in almost all German cars but it is still pleasant to look at.
For most people, these cars are probably hard to get but for those who can and will, buying one of these cars will be a “sweet torture”. Besides offering as much elegance and sophistication as they do, these cars are also powerful driving machines, oftentimes rivaling their sport 2-door cousins. These are the cars most of us would like to have but probably never will, but that does not stop us from thinking about them. So, tell us which one of these cars you would like to drive.
